The Duet 3 Mini 5+ can drive Markforged Mark One kinematics just fine with RepRap. Still cleaning up the wiring. You can run Onyx, but it will wear the nozzle out quickly. The plastic extrusion nozzle on the Mark One is brass. The Mark Two is copper with a steel core. They are not interchangeable.

I am starting my conversion of my Mark One. I already have a Mark Two so I don't need the fiber capability in the One. I am replacing the brain and extruder/hotend. I am going to make it into a high temp printer hopefully. I want to print PEI, PEKK, ans possibly Peek. Brains: Duet 3 mini 5+ Extruder: Bond tech BMG X2 Hot end: Slice Engineering Mosquito Magnum X 2 We will see if I can make it work.

Any progress? I am considering a similar project. Any thoughts about using the original Beaglebone Black to interface with the new board?
