Hi. I think you are the first english who use the D200.

First, you should step by the "Presentation" forum to introduce yoursefl.

In slic3r to modify the offset go to the "Printer setting" section when you are on normal mode then modify the Z offset parameter.

Personnaly i use Cura By Dagoma as slicer software it is made for the D200 and you can set up the offset very easily.

Here is the download page for Cura By Dagoma: http://www.dagoma.fr/tutoriels/telechargements/

The tutorail to set up Slic3r for the D200 (in french):http://www.dagoma.fr/tutoriels/apprendre-configurer-slic3r/

And a tutorial for slicer in english: http://manual.slic3r.org/simple-mode/simple-mode

do you have an inductive sensor? the heat can cause some issue with the detection. Be sure to instal the sensor correctly if the head is to high try to screw it up but be carefull. rise it a bit by a bit and make some tries with a model.

But be extremely careful cause if the sensor is too high the motors aint gonna stop and it can damage your printer so be ready to stop the printer

No sensor? ok so the offset should be configurable through the slicer software. ever try Cura By Dagoma? I know it's in french but you can have an easy access to the basic setting as the offset and the temperature.

Any picture of your D200? maybe we can see something on your Z axis that can explain your problem

A temporary solution by the way (but not recommended) could be to adjust manualy the offset during the print of the first layer (i recommand you tu use a Brim about 3 mm so you make the adjustment while printing the brim and not your item)
