Your design could earn you a new P1P!

 

We all know about Bambu Lab printers; they’re fast, they’re fun, and they’re one of the hottest topics in 3D printing right now. Now you have the chance to put your design skills and creativity to the test! Remix existing modplates, create new enclosures, design custom spool holders, camera accessories and mounts, or anything else you can think of . The only rule: design for the P1P.

 

This contest is extra special; Bambu Lab is sponsoring this challenge with an amazing grand prize, a new P1P! We have also partnered with three of your favorite 3D printing advocates: Jim, from Edge of Tech, Bryan Vines from BV3D, and Sam, The Real Sam Prentice. This trio not only love their P1Ps, but they are also anxious to see your designs!

We are understandably excited to see what everyone does, so let’s get to the prizes!

Grand Prize: Bambu Lab P1P

Runner Up: $300 gift card to MatterHackers or 3DJake (depending on location.)

Third place: $200 gift card to MatterHackers or 3DJake (depending on location.)

Two notable Mentions: $100 gift card to MatterHackers or 3DJake (depending on location.)

 

Official Rules:

Create as many remixes, accessories, or mods as you’d like! Just make sure to include “#ThangsBambuContest” in your model titles or description fields. Not required, but as a tip, we’d suggest you include either a photo of your design printed out or a render to help your entry stand out (it also makes it easier for us to show off your designs on our social channels).

Be certain to click the blue remix button located on the model page if you intend to remix an existing model. Both remixes and remixable models can be found on the new remix tab on Thangs.com.

Entries to the contest will be accepted Thursday, March 2, 2023 through Friday, March 24, 2023. Winners will be announced the week of March 27.

Terms and Conditions:

No purchase necessary.

By entering this competition, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to the conditions.

All entries must be original works created by the entrant and not used in other previous contests by other brands. Let’s be respectful to the community designers, no stealing the work of others.

Entries deemed not family friendly, business logos (that aren’t their own), or explicit material will be disqualified from the contest.

Decisions are 100% final. In case of dispute, no correspondence will be entered into.

Winning entries (models) will be documented and may be used for promotional purposes on social media.

Contestant’s models must be uploaded to Thangs.com to be considered as an entry.

The contest and prizes are not open to Physna/Thangs employees or their families.

Winners retain all Intellectual Property as per Thangs’ Terms and Conditions.

The winners will be contacted by email within a week of being chosen.

Take a look at who took home prizes in our our contest with BambuLab

With all the buzz surrounding BambuLab printers, we were very excited to partner up with them for a contest to showcase the amazing design community we have on Thangs.com and what they’re capable of. The only real ask for the contest was to design or remix something that could be used with the P1P. As always, you all blew us away with creative and functional models, some that have already used and celebrated by fellow creators like this AMS Stacking Stand by MihaiDesigns (Video by itsboyinspace ).

After looking through all of the incredible entries, our three judges The Edge of Tech (YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram), The Real Sam Prentice (YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram),and BV3D: Bryan Vines (YouTube, and Twitter) have come to a decision! Here are the results:
