The "Magic Potion" Recipe

 

1. 10 oz of Isopropyl Alcohol (70%): This strength is the sweet spot! I recommend avoiding weaker mixtures. Note: If you only have 91% or 99% on hand, just dilute it with a little distilled water.

 

2. 6g of Glue Stick: I personally love the Elmer’s Purple Glue Stick. The tint helps you see where you've applied it, plus it dries clear! That said, any generic washable glue stick will get the job done.

 

3. A Spray Bottle (12oz+): Clean and empty.

 

How to Mix It:

 

Slice off about 6g of the glue (roughly one standard small stick) and drop it into your spray bottle. Pour in the alcohol and give it a shake.

Important Patience Tip: Alcohol doesn't dissolve glue instantly, so don't panic! Let the mixture soak for 12-24 hours to fully incorporate. Once it’s dissolved, give it one last shake, and you're ready to go.

 

How to Apply:

 

For the sake of your printer's fans and vents, please do not spray this directly into the machine. Aerosolized glue can get sucked into sensitive areas. Instead, simply spritz a little onto a clean microfiber cloth or paper towel, then wipe down your build surface. This creates a thin, strong adhesive layer and cleans your bed at the same time!

pour moi c'est l'équivalent ( mais sous forme liquide à pulvériser car dilué dans de l'IPA ) d'un bâton de colle type UHU

Mais donc, attention lors de l'application, quand on le pulvérise, de ne pas en mettre sur les rails ou tiges lisses ou filetées.
