Dites voir, sous Bambu Studio on ne peut pas avoir des profils de filament et de réglage cross printer ? C'est un peu relou là de pas pouvoir utiliser mes réglages pour la P1P sur la X1C  

Lors de l'export je vois bien l'option "compatible printers :

Mais je ne vois pas comment le rendre compatible directement via l'interface

Boolean operations are now supported in Bambu Studio. With the latest Mesh Boolean tool, you can either make Union, Difference (Subtraction) or Intersection between 2 parts. However, please be noted that mesh boolean itself is a complicated topic, even for profesional CAD softwares. It may fail on some meshes, including the builtin "Cone" model. We are working to enhance the stability of these operations.

    Thanks to @PrusaSlicer for developing the function "Export to STL to subtract negative meshes". We have further improved its stability and functions. You could now perform this by right-clicking the part and select "Mesh boolean" from the menu. A segment of a part can be carved out through intersections with negative parts. On the other hand multiple positive parts can be merged into single part. In addition, we disabled the implicit boolean operation in the "Export as STL" to avoid confusion. "Exporting as STL" now exports the model as it is.

Par contre c'est Bambu Studio non, y'a pas de firmware associé pour les imprimantes ?

Il faut le firmware 1.06.00 pour tout un tas de ces fonctions, en effet :

- c'est visiblement le prochain firmware à sortir sous peu

- (edit) car (après vérif) pour le moment de mon côté je suis en 1.05.02.00 (que j'ai mis à jour seulement tout récemment)

 

Mais en effet le gros des apports vient du Bambu Studio au final (ce message aurait p-e eu + sa place ailleurs).

Oui j'avais vu ce "developer mode" aussi.

On dirait que c'est un paramètre qui était déjà disponible à la source dans Slic3r (et - je ne me rappelle plus - p-e aussi accessible dans OrcaSlicer).

Sachant qu'il y a de fait deux développeurs modes : 

- celui accessible par ce paramètre

- un développeur mode "interne", pour les gens qui développent le slicer (jusqu'ici çà permettait par ex. de dumper le flux vidéo sur disque, j'ai l'impression).

 

Sinon oui surprenant que de nouveaux profils d'imprimantes soient supportés "officiellement" (comme le faisait OrcaSlicer, dont l'intérêt va être de moins en moins justifié au fil du temps), car du coup c'est du boulot en plus pour les développeurs Bambu à maintenir (garantir que les fonctionnalités "non Bambu" ne posent pas de problèmes avec les imprimantes des concurrents - page "device" ou "configurations AMS" bien sûr non fonctionnelles, mais qui ne doit pas faire planter le soft quand on clicke dessus en environnement non-Bambu, etc.).

Enfin une version qui fonctionne sous Linux ... même s'il reste encore quelques librairies à installer pour faire tourner le appimage.

Ca fait déjà plusieurs versions (de tête : depuis la 1.5.0) que çà fonctionne relativement bien sous LINUX.
Mais plutôt (jusqu'ici) avec l'image FEDORA (je suis sous ARCHLINUX), l'ubuntu marchait au tout début (en 1.5.0) mais plus entre temps... d'ailleurs visiblement maintenant ils ne diffusent plus que la version FEDORA. 

Après il faut dire que les AppImage, c'est loin d'être efficaces (une partie des librairies est embarquée dedans, mais une partie vient du système, du coup au fil du temps il y a souvent des éceuils). C'était d'ailleurs galère avec l'AppImage d'IDEAMaker qui a mis du temps à être fonctionnel sous LINUX...

Depuis la 1.6.0 c'est stable sous LINUX pour moi / tout fonctionne (y compris la vidéo, qui ne marchait pas au tout début + pendant longtemps, il y avait des plantages aléatoires, le plus gros a l'air réglé).

A noter qu'il y avait un github fleuve sur le sujet "LINUX" ... : https://github.com/bambulab/BambuStudio/issues/12 (issue numéro 12, qui n'a plus l'air d'avoir d'activité depuis avril (d'ailleurs j'étais un des derniers à y râler !), donc çà doit en effet être assez stable maintenant)

Sais pas comment je me suis démerdé mais je ne suis jamais tombé les appimage de la version 1.6.2 de Bambu Studio jusqu'à présent ... juste l'appimage de Orca Slicer qui génère une erreur Java.

Vais tester ça ...

Une erreur JAVASCRIPT (uniquement sur la première page avec la liste des précédents projets), je suppose - c'est lié à un chrome trop récent (= c'est une erreur "lié au système" / à la dépendance au moteur de rendu web utilisé en sous main par le slicer, tel qu'installé sur l'OS). Cette erreur allait et venait avec une même release (selon comment les dépendances systèmes évoluent), mais pour le moment, je ne l'ai plus sur 1.6.2 ou 1.7.X

Par contre je n'ai vu aucune mise à jour du gcode de démarrage... Je le trouve spécialement lent avec pleins de mouvements inutiles. 

Qui ici l'a modifié ou en a trouvé un mieux fait ?

Je viens de tester depuis le boulot et les appimage se lancent ... mais comme je le craignais, encore une application développée sans prendre en compte un usage en entreprise ... pas moyen de télécharger le module réseau quel que soit le proxy, même le plus basique ... donc pas moyen de piloter l'imprimante depuis le taf

J'ai d'abord testé avec Bambu Studio 1.6 (je préfère rester en stable) mais vu le changelog de la 1.7 je l'ai installée sans que ça change quoi que ce soit 

Au final ça me ne dérange pas, au contraire, ça m'avait embêté quand j'avais encore la P1P de migrer mes réglages d'une imprimante à l'autre...

Improvements

Improve the slicing speed at 15% stage

Starting from version 1.7.1, the default wall generator has been switched to Arachne with variable line width enabled by default.
Arachne, compared to the classic wall generator, is more complex. Many users have reported a significant increase in processing time - up to 15% - when slicing complex models.
Therefore, we have prioritized optimizing the slicing speed when both the Arachne and overhang slowdown features are enabled.
Below, you can see a 3mf test and the slicing time comparison:

However, if the model is extremely complex (for instance, when slicing a lithophane.) and continues to be sliced slowly in the hotfix version, we recommend switching to the classic wall generator or disabling the overhang slowdown feature as a workaround.

Support one wall one top surface or topmost surface with Arachne

One wall on the top surface option is important to improve the top surface quality.
After switching the default wall generator to Arachne from V1.7.0 public beta, users reported that the top surface is bad, because Arachne couldn't be used with one wall on the top surface together at the same time.

We have tested this option before and found that this was causing the slicing process to be too slow. However, we found a solution and this option is now available in release.

You can now use the Arachne wall generator with “one wall on top surface” option for both “all top surfaces” and “only topmost surface”. The “only topmost surface” option can only make the topmost layer be one wall, but it can slice much faster than “all top surfaces” when model is very complex.

Features

1. Support skipping objects in multi-filament(multi-color) printing
Currently, the function is not in its optimal state. Changing the filament and flushing cannot be skipped, even if the filament becomes useless after skipping objects. If we skip filament changes and flushing when the filament is deemed useless, the filament ordering would change as well. This could lead to disorganized flush volume and cause color mixing in the models. Despite these challenges, users can still benefit significantly by only excluding failed objects in multi-filament printing. We will continue to improve and plan to support skipping flushing and changing filaments in the future.

2. Users can define the filament printing order of the first layer
This feature has been requested by many users on GitHub. Find more details here. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions! The GIF below demonstrates the operation of changing the filament order of the first layer.

This is function from PrusaSlicer and we just bring it back. Thanks PrusaSlicer!

In addition, a brim ear can be generated by applying the clipping order while using support filament. Users can merge small disc parts to the model, and use support filament to print it as a brim. The GIF below shows that process. The model used in this demonstration is from Estudio Aditivo. Thanks!

It's an experimental function, and the elephant foot compensation needs to be set to 0 mm if you add a brim ear for an additional part of a model. We will continue to follow users' suggestions!

Le bug qui donnait une valeur 0 ou une erreur quand on demandait de calibrer le flow a été corrigé avec la dernière version de bambu studio.

Ca fonctionne à présent très bien chez moi. Merci Bambu lab

Mon frère s'intéresse fortement aux imprimantes Bambu Labs depuis que j'ai la mienne... Mais, parce qu'il y a un mais, il utilise Ubuntu pour son PC, et il a essayé de récupérer Bambu Studio et OrcaSlicer/SoftEver et il n'y arrive pas pour des raisons de problèmes de dépendances avec d'anciennes librairies... Si quelqu'un a des retours sur le sujet, cela peut être intéressant pour d'autres...

Ils ont souvent des problèmes techniques pour générer les images UBUNTU : elles arrivent typiquement qqs jours plus tard.

Donc bien prendre la dernière version "Ubuntu" de la dernière version "Bambu Studio"

 

Si çà ne marche pas : 

1. Vérifier que l'installation d'Ubuntu est à jour ("apt-get update && apt-get upgrade -y" + toute la partie "dist-upgrade" pour upgrade vers ubuntu 23-04)
2. Eventuellement essayer l'image FEDORA (mais si çà marche, çà montrera sans doute que le problème vient de l'installation d'Ubuntu qui n'est pas à jour)

Notes : 

Sous ARCHLINUX "à jour", l'image FEDORA fonctionne. L'image UBUNTU est connue pour fonctionner sur des installs à jour. Au besoin vers le ticket https://github.com/bambulab/BambuStudio/issues/12 (qui n'a de l'activité que quand des utilisateurs ont un problème sur un linux donné)
